We have partnered with the Library of Michigan to bring you one of this year's Michigan Notable Books. Poet Keith Taylor will read from his award-winning book of poetry, "What Can the Matter Be?"
"What Can the Matter Be?" considers aging and death - of the self, of animals, of earth - as well as place, and how rootedness in place allows a sturdy vantage point from which to see and reflect on the wider world. New Story Community books will be onsite selling copies of Mr. Taylor’s book. A book signing will follow the reading. This program is brought to you in partnership with The Library of Michigan, The Library of Michigan Foundation, and Michigan Humanities.
