"The Lady from the Black Lagoon" with Author Mallory O'Meara

Nearly everyone knows of the Creature from the Black Lagoon, but do you know who created it? Join us as we welcome author Mallory O'Meara for our 2025 Women's History Month program.

O’Meara joins us to discuss Milicent Patrick, who remains the only woman to have designed a classic Universal monster. Books are available for checkout at either library location. The author will be available to answer questions and sign books after the program.
